My noise was evident under movement (5-10 mph) alone. Hope this helps anyone with this problem.
I have the same damn noise. Right rear-under load--a clicking noise. At first I only heard it when the brakes heated up, and I was depressing the pedal with medium effort. I took the right rear caliper apart, inspected it, and put it back together. Now it doesn't do it when the brakes are depressed, just when I step on the gas and the weight transfers back.
ok guys the tsb is located in the link on this page its gurgenpb's find. use the tsb for the coupe... my service rep said that the sedan and coupe now use the same tsb number for this one. im sorry for not actually finding the tsb... i believe its on the second or third page. my work computer is a peice and trying to get to page two is not worth it while im at work. when i get home i will search for the actuall tsb on it but here is a list of all of them for the g35. https://g35driver.com/forums/tsb-technical-bulletins/43865-link-all-g35-tsb-s-date.html
Thanks for the link to the TSB. My car will be returning from the dealership for this issue (and others) today and the service manager told me they found something loose and that tightening whatever it was fixed it - I'll provide more details when I have the service papers in front of me. ...If I can contain my excitement about my new non-clicking seat long enough to type
Latest on clicking noise
Just returned from dealer, who investigated noise. Seems the shop that installed the aftermarket wheels mounted the hub-centric ring on the right rear wheel backwards (!) Since the ring is tapered, the wheel was never securely mounted, even though the lug nuts were tight. No evidence of noise now.
I still have the noise on my sedan. I tightened the axle nuts to spec, and tried putting the stock wheels back on--no dice. I need to put the suspension back to stock, then on to the dealer I go!
