Do you have any issues with rubbing in the back with a full load of people?

I have a complete 350z suspension setup sitting in my garage for my 05 sedan 6mt. Has anyone done 350z full suspension yet? I was debating whether or not to put it in because I didnt know what kind of change it would bring. I've been looking for some 19" wheels but havn't really found exactly which ones yet. An inch drop and slightly stiffer ride sounds like it'll be perfect for 19's. Looks like i'll be busy this weekend. =)

Nice riide. Got a question. How did u get the wheels on? I tried to get the Z wheels and was told they were the same offset as the G35 coupe wheels. But when i put it on, the nuts weren't even CLOSE to getting on (due to the offset). Did u have to get new nuts? or new bolts? definitely the few, the proud the sedans!! LOL

g35papa..........yes, it did rub when i had adult passenger(2) in the rear.....once I rolled the fenders, no mor rubbing..

Machine head.......i'll pm you on the shipping cost thing.....i really believe the coupe's springs .5 drop is ideal for your 19s.....what's your offest?

wanalaugh74......same nuts, same studs, coupe wheels bolted right up.....not too familiar w/Z wheels.......the original nuts should just bolt right up, did you use the nuts from the Z? maybe slightly different thread pattern?

no just used the ones that were holding my stock 17's. Wierd b/c the OEM Z 18 Rims are +30 offset also and they weren't even close to fiting. It was like the bolts on my sedan were too short to have the nut work. Arent the coupe wheels 30 offset too?

that is nice, very OEM+, id prob go w/ a more agressive drop and rims myself, but still, youve got a very clean setup! so you only have the 350Z springs? and ur sport sedan struts? how is that? i remember hearing that its not so great if u dont have the Z struts too?

that sucks..........coupe wheels are 30 offset, only thing i could think of is the hub deth/thickness is more on the Z wheels? take it to a rim shop and get their opinion.....good luck...

OEM was what i was after, just a little twist with the coupe wheels.....clean, yes...no stickers and such......just pure sedaness I also read up on Gsedan35's very informative findings on Z springs w/oem sport sedan struts, in fact, i strongly recommend anyone to read his finding because his approach was systematic(search by name)......I'm currently sourcing revised Z shocks, however, i don't mind the current set-up cause i don't drive 7/10s or 8/10s let alone 9/10s......i'm a daily cruiser, not a track freak

so you started with the sport package...how does it handle with the Z springs as compared to the sport suspension? also, are the Z springs a lot harsher?

iirc, the sedan sport springs and Zs springs are of the same spring rates, z springs are shorther, hence the 1" drop.........handling has much improved all around, especially corning, however, i have to factor in the wider tires too.......in terms of harsness, not much over the sport package.......that initial bounce over speed bumps/uneven roads is a little more pronounced.............i have an extra set of the Z springs(long story how i ended up with two sets).......30bucks+shipping if you want them......my zip is 91789.

Just out of curiousity, you don't happen to have the measurements of a sedan sport and non-sport spring?

I would like to compare a sedans spring to a coupes and 350Z stock spring measurements in length, coil wire diameter and number of spring coils. I have the measurements of a stock 6MT G35 coupe and would like to compare them to a sedans and a 350Z
