Any suggestions on how to get a scratch out on...

I just picked up my new '05 sedan and also just picked my first scratch-int interior of the car. The scratch is on the metal portion(same material the radio dash is made of) of the gear shifter(automatic). The material feels/looks like some sort of metal and was wondering how to get a very light scratch out with out having to replace it. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Hey man, I can't help you directly, but trying posting in the detail forum and you might get an answer there.

Best of luck.

Just an FYI, the aluminum trim scratches just looking at it.

Exactly why the plitanium trim is not as bad as some would believe. I scratched the aluminum trim in my TL the first day of ownership.

Odd - I've had my car since FEB and haven't scratched the trim yet, and I've done a lot more than 'just looking at it."

It's real aluminum so metal polish would likely take it out. I'd have to see it (pic) before I could make a solid recommendation.
