Talking Can you turn the VDC off off? Completely?

I'm sure that you're all like me, and turn the VDC off everytime you get in the car. But it's not really off now is it. Hmmm? I had a coupe, and with it off it was OFF. Not the same in my 05 sedan. What gives?

Anyone got the fix, plug-in, mod to turn it OFF OFF?

I'll kiss the person who figures this one out (well, at least a kiss face)

GREAT Links... you guys take the "kisses" things WAY TOO SERIOUSLY. (LMAO)

I sure hope this can be permanently shut off. What's the point of 300HP+ if you can whip the tail around every now and then???

Thanks again.

I've never noticed the VDC intruding when I've turned it off, even to do donuts and the like... What do you have to do to see an example of it kicking in?

I never noticed in on my 04 coupe, but I sure as heck notice that the car wont step out and donut on my 05 sedan. Same motor, same power, but the car doesn't seem to "light em up" like the coupe.

Is there possibly a different rear end/gearing issue? ANyone know about the specific changes between the coupe and sedan? My coupe was with the sport package, and my sedan is not... maybe that has something to do with it?

With VDC off in my '03 6MT sedan, I could easily swing the back end around in donut-like fashion (no LSD). I honestly haven't tried it in my '04 6MT sedan (with LSD).
