Need tint comparison pics...
Hey guys. I'm having my G tinted a week from Friday, and I'm still deciding on what percentage to get. I'm a surgical sales rep, and the privacy issue is a fairly big deal to me considering I often keep expensive equipment in my car. I also play a lot of golf and use my car as a dressing room quite often. The 20% privacy would be nice, as I could change my clothes without worrying about ruining anyones day should they happen to see me undressing. <haha>
Seriously though, I'm stuck between 35 or 20% tint. I'd love to see some pics of darker colored G's (black interior) with the various tint percentages. Thanks in advance. By the way, here in Washington State the legal percentage is 35% although the lower numbers aren't usually enforced.

The lighting makes it look misleading, but I have 20% on the front and 5% on the back and rear windows. My previous car had 35% on the fronts and I was disappointed, now all our cars are 20/5. If you’re not worried about the legality of it, I’d go 20% w/o any hesitation.
PS. There’s a bright yellow s2000 parked directly behind me, that’s how great 20% tint is!

on my previous car, black, i had 20% front and 10% back. i was very disappointed. i thought it would have been much darker, especially because i had a black car! i'm getting my G tinted in a few weeks ( when i have time ) and i'm getting %5 on the rear's and 15% on the front two passengers. hope that helps =/

I also live in the Puget Sound area, Mill Creek, and have had 20% on my Typhoon since I bought it in 1993 and have not had any issues with WASP or any local PD. I drive out to Monroe and Duvall all the time also, so I would go 20% on the rear and rear sides and 35% on the front side if you are worried about 20% all the way around.
Since it is cloudy out here 300 days a yr, the 5% rear window is an accident waiting to happen. It's tough to see in low light conditions out the back. I had this in my Typhoon for 1 month and replaced it with the 20% to match the sides.
My black G35 is being done in a week for 20% all around.
Hope this helps!
