OK ... admit it. When you drive by a nice set of large windows you can't help but sneak a peak of your G. I was even admiring my G when I pulled up behind a black pickup and could see the Gs reflection in the paint. Heck, I may even set up my digital camera on a tripod and record my G coming up the driveway. Is there a cure for this sickness?

 

No cure that i know of.....

I think i have a isolated case of this same issue.....because sometimes i love my car in the reflection (all shined up, perfect lighting,etc) and other times i hate it (stock wheel suck, not low enough, etc).....

Only cure for that is to MOD MOD MOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!


PS: Tanker trucks work well too!!! just keep your eyes on the road!!!

I think the only way you'll stop doing it is if you get tired of your car or find a new car you like better. Then you'll stop lookin.

ROFL . I thought I was the only one that did that. I have caught myself gazing at the large store windows admiring the curvacious, sexy lines of the G only to be brought back to reality by someone laying on their horn cause the traffic light had changed .

 

I do that too! There's a big glass building that I drive by everyday to work and I always look. LOL.

I do the same thing. There's an old strip mall on my way to work with a row of metalized windows. I always look. Yes, it's a sickness. The only known cure is Aztek therapy.

 

I think we are all victims of that. Nothing wrong with loving to see your car, while it's moving. After all we only get to drive it not watch it drive.

 

Unfortunately, I don't have any nice reflective surfaces to drive past on my daily commute. On the other hand, today, I met my wife at the local Tweeter today to investigate the headrest/dvd thing. Afterwards, we drove a few miles to have dinner, then we went home... the long way home. The whole time I could watch her car(MY PREVIOUS CAR) in the mirror. So, in a way, I could actually see it's beauty in motion... turning, accelerating, etc.

I think it's funny. A few years ago there was a very funny Toyota Tacoma commercial. This guy sees a Tacoma, and starts telling his wife everything that comes on the truck, and he's obviously just staring at it. Then the camera pans out, and it turns out that he and his wife are in the cab of an identically colored and equipped tacoma.

A few years ago when I got my 300M, it was the same way. I had lusted after that car for over a year before I finally got it. Afterwards, whenever I would see one on the road, I would just stare and admire.

It's one thing to be in the car, but it's completely different be *outside* of the car, isn't it?

 

I check out the reflection too! Not only that, when the car is parked sometimes I just stand there admiring it. People think I'm nuts.

 

I do the same thing all the time! Sometimes I will take a longer way to where I am going just to drive by the windows and go through the mall and watch everyone stare. I also sometimes stand there and admire it.

No cure...

 

Haha...I do that with the reflective windows too. Usually I walked past by my car on the way to work (I don't drive to work) and usually I turned around about 3 to 5 times checking it while I am walking away...

 

Yeh we all do that and get some very sweet reflections, but be careful of what's ahead of you while you admire that fine ride........

I do that to. You know what is better than that............Everytime I wash my car--I dry it and then drive it around the block--and dry it again--to get all the water out..........Well-sometimes I ask my wife to drive it around "While I watch "--I love the way it looks especially right at dusk or cloud covered day.
Also--If you ever meet your wife somewhere--you can drive her car home to get a visual on your car--you know--to make sure the exhaust is not shaking or a wheel is bent or whatever--it looks good.

I know this sounds crazy.............but I like my car.
