Seat Belt Flapping

Guys,

When I have my windows down, I notice that my seat belts flap around. Anyone else experience this?? It's somewhat annoying.

I get the same thing. I don't think there is much you can do about it.

I get it too. Sounds like you have a flag in the back seat.

I don't have that problem with my seatbelt. Is it flapping because of free play in the belt? Did any of you guys adjust the seatbelt height off the pilar? Give it a try and adjust the belt height lower on the pilar.

That happens fairly often with myfront passenger seat belt when the windows are open. When it does, I just fasten it into the clip like someone was in the passenger seat and then no problem. Then my daughter or wife starts questioning me about what the H*ll is going on!

Reclining the rears all the way helps a lot...

Interesting! I will have to try this, as my rear seatbelts flap/smack against the seats like crazy when I have all the windows down. Super annoying.

no haven't noticed that... but i do have a bunch of nicks/dents in the plastic where upon release of my seat belt it hits the b pillar trim... gotta find a way to get rid of that.

Worked wonders for me. I had the seats reclined all the way from day one. Don't ask me why, I just did.

One night we took some friends to dinner and I didn't put the seatbacks back down.

The next day I'm rolling to work and they were making all kinds of noise back there. I was thinking 'what the hel....' and then remembered. I pulled in to the gas station on the corner, laid the backs back, and no more noise.

I guess it gets the belt edge out of the airstream just enough to allow them to lay on the seat and not bounce around.

The passenger front still makes a little noise. No biggie.
