g3505,

I'd love to hear that exhaust sometime. I'm over in Vero Beach (straight across SR 60 from tampa.) I have been contemplating the new stillen exhaust, but I need to keep the car sounding very civilized. I take clients out in the car all the time; I can't have a droning or loud exhaust.....well, maybe at WOT!

g3505,

Welcome to the G family. Beautiful car and great chioces for your mods. Keep your check book handy as you will not be able to cure yourself of the mod "bug" now that you've caught it.

Great comparo and nice mods. I have always believed the CAI and exhaust should almost be standard upgrades. Luckily, with the already sweet sound of the 05 exhaust and an upcoming house payment coming, I've been able to resist the temptation to crack open the checkbook

Thanks folks!

QuadCam:

If in the Bay area, let me know and we can take it for a test drive.
I seriously recommend you hear it prior to purchasing.
The “feel” is very subjective.
Is it loud? – No.
Is it load at WOT? – Maybe, but definitely less than 04 prototype.
Is it civilized? – Yes.
Client/passenger friendly? – Yes (unless they are geriatric).
Performance gains? – Definitely.

Good luck. If you decide to pull the trigger, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Welcome and nice job on the mods. I guess I need to get in gear after having my G for over 8 months. Enjoy.

I bought a pint of paint for painting my corner lights. When they pulled the paint code, there is a small amount of red that has to be mixed into the black paint.

The painted corner lights came out a perfect color match with the paint I purchased. I guess black isn't always black!

I am just saying I have had 2 quality body shops tell me that black is the only color that they can get as close as possible to a 100% color match. Typically better paint-match results compared to any other color.

Oh and...........get a shed and clean that garage before you fall victim to falling bike on car syndrome
