Angry Rattle in Rear?

I just purchased an 04 G35 with the premium package (leather, reclining rear seats), and while I enjoy everything about the car, there is an annoying "rattle" coming from somewhere in the rear seat area. It actually sounds more like the leather is rubbing against the plastic or other leather somewhere. It's a fairly constant sound. Has anyone had this sound and been able to track it down. Unfortunately while I'm driving I can't hop in the back seat to find it! (although I've practically tried to).

I had a rattle in the rear door that just started a couple weeks ago. Took it into dealer and they fixed it and lubed all the hinges on all 4 doors. I believed the noise was coming from the squeaky hinges. I am not sure if it came inside the door but anyway it's fixed now.

I am a big fan of going to www.infinitihelp.com for help on these sorts of things.

Here is a bulletin on a problem that sounds like the one you are having.

Thanks!

Hey thanks for the help. The bulletin from the Inifinity site should be very helpful, and I'll listen for something in the door, too. I appreciate it.

Don't forget that sound travels and can be deceiving. I once thought my passanger side window was rattling, but it turned out to be the rear-view mirror.

Next time you hear it, try grabbing the rear view mirror, and see if that makes it stop.
