15 times? . . . Those sons of B$%^*)@. Yes, they are picking on you because they are definitely jealous of you. How dare they! . . . . Get a clue . . .

So I say "One of us went to community college and majored in racial profiling, the other has his MBA and is a succesfull business man in the financial industry...how the **** do you think I can afford it." The second cop now comes over and asks if I mind if they search my car. I let them know they'll need a search warrent and the shift supervisor if they want to do that. The two cops walk away and chat for a minute. The second cop returns to give me my license and papers. He says "You should be carefull around here, this part of town and a car like that could paint the wrong image."

Cliff Notes: Young Hispanic male doing the right thing get's racial profiled in New Hampshire.

The college comment was really a low blow. I think it's screwy what Police and Teachers get paid in this society...no wonder there are bad apples in the profession. I'd be pissed to if I was getting paid crap to put up with the attitude you gave them.

That's just it, it was Manchester, on the west side of town..not bad in my opinion..but then again as a child I spent my summers in Harlem and Brooklyn NY...now those places were bad.

nope it was just a friend, No kids here.

As for the mouthing off, Like I said I am normally a very calm man. As a teenager I drove a hooked up Honda Prelude (nothing riced out) and I was frequently stoped by the police. Back then I knew I was a kid probably doing stupid things on the road that deserved the cops attention. But now, for gods sake I was doing the right thing helping a drunk freind and I'm the suspect?

Even in this case, I agree that the situation may have been suspect. I was ready to reply in nothing but a polite manner. But I should clarify that when I asked in my most pleaseant voice "why I was being stopped" the cop was holding the edge of my license and reg. ie; I was complying with his original order and not trying to give him a hard time. I simply wanted an opportunity to explain why I was out and about at 2 am.

Like I said I agree the situation was shady and I'm not complaining that I got pulled over. My reason for complaining about the racial profiling is his series of questions that had already beed answered by my valid drivers license and registration, as well as the fact that he questioned how "I" could afford this car.

If my name was Bob Smith ans my skin a lighter tone I am sure the questioning would not have gone that way.

What is your evidence for this?

You are so full of sh*t. No police officer would ever pull you over and then say they had no reason to. First off, they would have no trouble finding a reason to pull you over. Second, "Good evening sir, I pulled you over for no reason whatsoever. May I see your license and registration please"? How ridiculous.

Clearly we need more victims in this country. The tort lawyers are starving.

This thread ticks me off. Unless you've got the instantaneous razor wit of Jon Stewart, David Letterman, Johnny Carson and Jay Leno combined along with a massive set of brass *****, I seriously doubt you made the smarty-tarty comments you claim you did. My guess is you've got Costanza Syndrome: You're paralyzed in situations where you'd like to say something, then spend the next three days inventing the snappy lines you wish you'd said during the confrontation.

And if you really did open your mouth, you'd best keep it and your victim mentality up north where the ACLU thrives. Behavior like that doesn't fly here. The cops I know would've knocked your head a little shortly after you started talking.

If this was truely the case then you should have made a complaint. No Officer in their right mind would ever say anything stupid like that. Now if you've been pulled over 15 times in your short driving experience then maybe you should buy a clue and figure out what's wrong with your picture.
