Intelligent Key -tried tested and true...

im 14 and my dad got an '05 G sedan about 6 weeks ago...love the damn thing...
we took it on a road trip to Ottawa and we stayed we with my aunt who has a pool. hot day (39C),dad goes in pool doesnt realize he has keys in pocket till 2 hours later...one of those "oh ****" moments, but remarkably the key still works perfectly. Anyone else put their keys through hell?

Good thing they're rugged and air/watertight......I've been told they're expensive to replace. (over $200 CAD).!!!!!
