yes it will beat the G, u need to get the facts.... thats 250 to the wheels... we get around 235-240 to the wheels... need to get the facts my man...

why would Audi list the hp of their car at the wheels instead of at the crank?...

no where could I find any indication that the hp figure for S4 was at the wheel....

care to point that out to me???

 

Ok if im wrong ill admit it, but check this out from road and track its an article that speaks abou the new S4 and it makes a reference to the engine that it replaces....calling it the 250bhp v6- if you cant trust road and trank then idk... watever this thread is getting kinda weak for me idk i think its 250 if its not and im wrong o well who really cares its not that big of a deal to me.. . you guys are all good people its not worth fighting about

but I think they meant exactly what they said:
a v-6 with 250 hp... like our engine being a v-6 with 260 hp...

oh well, I'll just have a go with my friend's stock S4 and then we'll find out who's faster...

 

Im gonna have to ask my friend he has a stock S4(6spd) and my other friend has a G35C(6spd) im sure they ran before, and I might just have to meet him up this week for a quick run in my G35 as well so we can end this debate

 

Man a race between g35 coupe or sedan vs Audi S4 would be sweeeet to whatch... im gunna hit the track this summer if i see one im gunna try to race em!

 

Stock vs. stock, it would be a pretty good race becaust the hp are pretty close. I've always understood the stock 2.7L twin turbo S4 to have 250 hp at the crank. The beauty of that car, though, is in it's ability to modified with a chip. I've read of S4's with 450 hp, so they really have a lot of upside potential. The car magazines seem to really like the new, V8 version of this car. They rate ahead of the M3, and not just because it has more power.

 

Yep they do seem to like the new S4. Personally i do not like 4 wheel drive cars but i honestly would rather have the new s4 over the m3 because of the tremendous tourque of that engine..all that power going to 4 wheels is for lack of a better word insane... m3 looks better though in my opinion and seems to be more fun to modify... who would win in that race???
