I rather have the Euro RS4

 

when i had my car at the track i raced a S4 i totaly destroyed it and i had snow tires on and lots of wheels spin and i have an auto. The facts are the car is slow in stock from. I guess with a chip it might me a challenge but the facts are my G coupe not only beat it but it distroyed it. as far as the sadan i think i might be a closer race but the G will still deffently come out on top

The new S4 on the other had is very fast and i would try not to race it unless u want to loose. And I think it will beat the M3 well untill BMW puts that V 8 in the M3 i keep hearing about.

how fast did u run at the track..to destroy it u must have been running in the 13's...ive seen/witnessed what a stock S4 will run..not once but over and over again on diff tracks for for you to destroy it u must have been in the low to mid 13's

 

Regardless of all these weight issues and everything a G35 still woundnt beat an audi S4...they get sub 6- second 0-60's and we get 6.2.... S4 is my favorite car so im kinda partial till 2 good drivers face off and the G wins im still going to say that s4 is supreme... Boosted is absolutely rite that car is a monster...

Like most cars the runs agaist the S4 it will be playing catch up...with the quattro the S can do a hell of a launch..how about 1.8-1.9 60ft for stock S4's and it dips into the 1.6-1.7 range to modded ones. From a roll it would be a more interesting race stock Vs stock. All of the S's advantage comes from its ability to launch.

 

Every mag I've seen still rates the M3 ahead. I'm not talkin the domestic mags either. Magazines like "EVO", CAR, and TopGear. These are respected European magazines. The M3 is just harder edged -more sport than GT. The new S4 is no slouch - it shouldn't be with a V8 under the hood. Have any of you heard or seen what a V8 engine M3 can do? I have albeit in race form at one of the American LeMans Series races, I got a chance to see and hear the GTR. Those cars are absolute beasts, watch out if they put one in the next "showroom M3". Back on topic stock for stock, a G35 vs, a comparable 1st gen S4 (Auto vs. Auto, and manual vs, manual) should be a drivers race. Modded S4 - nod goes to the S4. Oh yeah and don't kid yourself there are some modded 1.8T's out there, Audi and VW that will hand you your @$$.

Who said anything about M3... i also dont think they should have droped a v8 in the new audi. They should have cut the weight to around 3100 pounds give or take a hundred and TT the 3.0 v6, they easily could have spun around 350 + horses outa that. The bigger engine the heavy car, and all that [censored] just makes it a less fun car to drive. With weight comes teh feel of a bigger car that you cant just flip around turns. The dynamics of a car that weighs that much leaves it bait to the more nimble, more attractive, and quicker m3... As far as the G goes in this super sedan battle.... i dont care i got 260 horses in a car thats easy to mod for 31k... not 50k, so im a happy camper

Personally i do not like 4 wheel drive cars but i honestly would rather have the new s4 over the m3 because of the tremendous tourque of that engine..all that power going to 4 wheels is for lack of a better word insane... m3 looks better though in my opinion and seems to be more fun to modify... who would win in that race???

Uh, you did. You don't remember your post. Anyway, I am a fan of displacement and the 4.2 is okay. But 333hp from a 3.2 is phenominal. But I do hear that the new S4 has that unique V8 rumble like the M5.

knock that S4 out. He gonna need some more oxygen to deal with you. It's funny how some of these cars need respirators to make decent horsepower. There are not to many sixes currently out there playing at this level, especially with equal amount of torque.

i know i am going to take a lot of [censored] for this one but i dont know why all u people like the S4 so much there is no way in hell i would spend that much money to get a car that would losse to a much cheaper G and by the way i ran a 14.6 i belive and the S4 ran 15. somthing but it was not very good that could have been driver erro but either way i beat it and it was an manual vrs. my auto. Audi should just stop trying once they bring in there V8 s4 BMW will bring in there V8 m3 and case close the BMW will win. As far as the RS6 or what ever once that comes to the US BMW will have there 2005 M5 with a V10 and we all know that will aboslutly rape an audi.

 

i don't know about you, but i had the money, i'd take the s4 over both the m3 and the g35. 2 things, really: quattro and 4 doors.

 

The new RS4 is using a twin turbo 450hp V8 of the RS6 or was it the RS8
