exhaust resonator?

How much louder will my g35 be with just the exhaust resonator (by the muffler) removed? It looks pretty big...

depends on what you do, if u get a coupe mid-pipe itll sound nice, but w/ the stillen cat-back it sounds even better......more like the coupe.......

Wadda ya mean....no coupe middy...justa straight pipe? What's the point if not performance? It'll just sound like another "ricer" with a "fart can". Check your search under 'mid pipe' for all the poop on this mod or...do the real deal...

Nice JustBrilliantX
How would you compare the sounds differences between this and your previous setup?

Any by-the-seat-of-your-pants gains?

I'm not sure if 03-04 sedans have this resonator, but on my 05 there is a boxy looking one right before the muffler. It looks really restrictive and for now i'm considering just removing that. I asked the muffler shop and they said it will cost $20-30 to get rid of it but the guy there seemed to think it won't make any different in sound?
