Alignment issues- check your tires for wear!
Checked the wear of the stock tires on my wife's sedan. At 20k miles there is abnormal wear to the inner tread. Really abnormal. The car drives straight so it may be a toe-out issue.
The car is 100% stock but is an early build. No damage, no hard driving. I believe there have been others with alignment issues but they may have had aftermarket springs/wheels etc.
Check yours before the damage gets too bad and you need new tires.
It's going to the shop this week for maintenance and for a dead 3rd brake light.

I know sport tires (soft rubber) only usally last around 20,000 miles before you have to get new tires. Unless there All Season Tires odds are you will only get 20,000 miles out of them.
But then again it could just be a alignment issue

Yea- the tires overall are cracked/worn but there is 50% tread left on the rest of the tire.
I've seen (had) damaged suspensions do the same type of wear. Sharp on the inside shoulders. Any more and it's to the cord.

I have 12750 miles on my G and was thinking about performing a rotate and balance this weekend, even though I'm not having and problems.... preventative maintenance to even the wear on the front and rear tires. Thanks for the tip, I'll look for uneven wear this weekend.

Are you doing the balance yourself?

Balance...who me? No way...I normally go to Firestone and purchase a lifetime balance and rotation package. I then drop my car off every 5K or so...this normally extends the life of the tires as well as ensure a smooth ride and even wear throughout the tires' lifetime. I got 70K miles on my last set on my old car, an Altima, the tires were rated at 40K. Even with 75% highway miles, 70K on a set of tires is incredible.

I had Grubbs do the rotation. Both the fronts and rear show wear. No indication from the dealer anything was wrong @ 15k miles.
Still, 20k from a set of tires is lame. I was able to get 30k from tires on my Mustang. And that car is a burnout monster.
