Please help me find lower grills

Im looking to replace the plastic mesh lower grills on my 05 Sedan, with one that matches the upper grill. By match, I mean the same number of horizontal bars in porportional thickness. I have seen some with something like 10 super skinny bars and thats not what I like, so if anyone has some pictures, links or suggestions, that would be great.

Haven't found anything as of yet. I agree that black plastic grille looks a lil cheap.

I agree! Would like to see something in chrome other than the billet style. I like the look of the chrome with the blue. Something better in black wouldnt be bad.

I was about to post the same thread but pretty much know the answer. There is nothing out there to bolt right up. I took off the bottom panel and took a peek behind the grills. Those grills look like they are just held in by screws so it would be easy to replace. What I would like, is a recessed opening with no grill - kinda like the old Nismo look. I was thinking about just removing the grills but not sure if that would look right. Hopefully, someone will step up and make some options.

How did you get access to those screws? Your saying that the lower grille can be taken off easily?

I think so but have not tried it. All I did was take out the dozen or so bolts holding the plastic shield under the front of the car. I didn't take it completely off but enough to bend it down and take a peek. From there, you can reach up and access the screws. You would need a L-bend screwdriver, or a really short one since there is not much room between the frame and the grills. I also think it would be easier to get the car on jackstands so you can maneuver better. It might not be the easiest thing to do but I don't think it would be the worst.

Is this what you are looking for? Go to this link and scroll to the bottom of the page. They are offering billet grilles and lower grilles. You can buy a kit or just the lower. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the link, but thats not quite what Im looking for. I want to keep the stock main grill, and replace the 2 lowers with ones that match the stock upper. I think the "billet" time grills have too many horizontal bars, for my tastes.

I haven't seen anything like what you want.

You may have to do a custom job.

hmmmm...
What if you got an OEM center grill;
cut it in half and then trimmed them to fit?
