Dangerous Parking Brake??

Dangerous Parking Brake??
Anyone noticed that the parking brake in the sedan might be in a dangerous spot in a front end collision? The pedal seems to point right at your shins and during a collision could break your leg?

Anyone have any information on how this parking brake pedal behaves in a front end collision?

Yes, I have thought about it also. The thought of that
thing crashing thru my shin bone makes me cringe!

God I love this car!
