04.5 Sedan MPG
Just in case anyone is interestd, my fill-up today revealed 22 mpg on latest tank. 50 mile round trip freeway commute M-F with avg speed of 65-70 mph and occassional flooring to pass and feel some G's. I've had my G for 13 months, 19K miles, stock Turenzas. Weekend errand driving includes lots of hard stops and goes. Same driving style started out at about 19 mpg after "break-in" period. So I'm pretty happy with the mpg. Of course, Rita may affect that perspective. $2.99 for Amoco 93 octane today in Norfolk, VA.

My best is all hwy of 26 mpg. Or 8.5 liters per 100 km. Call it BS, I didn't believe myself. All 6th gear cruising at about 2k rpm.
Last fill was 21.5 with 1/4 on hwy-rest in suburb driving no higher than 3500 rpm.Seems that Kinetix plenum added some low grunt allowing to use 6th gear around town.
Oh, 1 gallon is 3.78 liters, right?

See attached GIF screen-cap of spreadsheet. My 2004.5 Sedan 5AT with 14K miles averages 20-21 mpg. I'm mostly highway, but fast highway. I worry a little if the 87 octane is doing any damage but fuel costs are brutal and it runs great.

Well, my '04 was consistently getting 18-20 mpg, 19 usually though, it had just under 19k, and my driving is almost all city with some freeway, the '05 seems headed the same direction!
Yeah..I average 21-22.5 MPG (80-90% highway) between 60-80 MPH. I had to go on a business trip one day & had plenty of time to spare, so I set the cruise control around 60/65 MPH the whole way (2.5 hr. drive). Then on the way back I cruised around 70 MPH. Couldn't believe it...but I got 26.5 MPG (above sticker
). Guess you need to drive REAL mellow to get that high. (I use 89 Octane)

this past week I have had to a do a lot of driving. Most of the time I average 16MPG according to the Nav. With these last couple of tanks I have averaged a little over 24. A few quick spurts but mostly just babying it.
