Would I be stupid not to buy this car?

I've been fighting back and forth between buying an 05 G35X or a 05 Altima SE-R. I've seem to change my mind between the two cars every other hour. I went to the dealership and test drove both and loved both. I really just can't decide which to get. Then this deal popped up:

2005 Infiniti G35
Ivory Pearl
5 Speed Automatic with Manual Mode
Premium Package (Loaded minus Nav)
4k miles -Demo Car (driven by the manager for 6 months)
$32,100

I know it's not AWD like I originally wanted but this seems like way too good of a deal to pass up. I could problem even talk them down on the price since it's technically a used car. It's basically everything I wanted in a G35 minus the AWD. What do you think?

Looks nice but I dont like the wood trim in the interior. But it's very clean.

I don't know about KY, but here in SoCal dealers are giving away the G sedan. 3 dealers offered me base auto G35 for $27K. A loaded one with Nav can be had for 32K brand new. You are basically paying that price for one with 4K miles and no Nav.

You'd be crazy to get an Altima over a G35 if you can afford one.

They charge you the same, a year later & missing the x?

That's not a great deal. Not even a good one. That's invoice for last years model used by a dealer for 6 months. You should be able to get a new 2005 below invoice.

Do you like the wood? I think the aluminum looks soooo much better. Just remember a base Altima is a cheap car...a base G is not. Get a new G!

I do like the wood trim.

MSRP on the car is $35,900.00

I think I could talk them down to 30k for it.

I just came out of an 03 Altima 3.5SE 5 speed with headers, exhaust and intake.

I'm now in an 03 G35 Auto....I've got to tell you I think the SER is a great looking car, but I just love the fact that I can turn off my VDC and get sideways whenever I want with the G. Reminds me of my WS6 Trans Am....less power obviously, but rear wheel drive is just the way "god" meant sporty cars to be.

I'd go for the G35....plus it doesn't hurt that my neigbours think I got a "raise" at work.

I bought a 2004.5 G35x w/ 7K miles on it, in Boston (way more expensive then KY), for $28K ... Premium, no nav. I think the deal you are looking at is robbery.

I kow it's hard to see the car you want, and not have it but like most here have said, that's way too much. Give the fact that the average car looses 4-5k as soon as it is driven off the lot, I'd say forget that deal and negotiate for a new one at that price. Don't make an emotional decision. I know it's hard. Good luck
