Would I be stupid not to buy this car?

I think that is a bit much for a demo car depending on what they are going for in your area. Check out the prices for the used G's in your area and about a 75 mile radius and use that as a basis to haggle with them. We got our '04 this past April, and it had all of about 20 miles on it, for a little over 4K under sticker. I have no idea what invoice was but I think 4K under sticker was a pretty good deal.
Also, now you can do a KBB price for the '05's. I KNOW THEY AREN'T THAT ACCURATE - but it's a good place to get an idea. Check that out and the used prices and go with what you feel comfortable with. Good luck either way!

The Altima SER looks great but it's fwd. The G35 is rwd and handles better. It should be easy to decide IMO $32k for that demo is high and I would rather just buy new. Even if it's the manager, you have to expect that demo cars are driven hard right from the start.
When car shopping, never pay attention to MSRP. Do your research, find out invoice costs, what other deals are in the area, and what exactly you are looking for. Don't take the car salesman's word that you are getting a good deal.

Last September, I bought my '04 Premium, Sport, no Nav w/5K, manager's car (he left his CD's in the changer) for $30K. BTW - no squeaks, ratttles, issues. If it had any, they were sorted out before I bought. Flawless ever since-no regrets.
It's a nice looking car, but the price is high, and as jawjaw said, you have no idea how it was driven (who did the manager lend it to-etc.). I like the AWD a lot. There is always another car, so don't get stuck on an easily available one. Have fun shopping!
