$80 for a syn-oil change by the dealer is pretty steep!

 

I would ask a Nissan dealership on their prices for oil changes. The engine that is the G35 is the same as the Nissan 350Z.

 

I frequently use a local Nissan dealership because they often have specials like 14.95 or 19.95 running, instead of the 24.95 or 34.95 at my Infiniti dealer. No problems so far.

 

you don't need synthetic oil in the VQ motors but it does help. the good thing about bringing it to an Infiniti dealer is if there are any updates they'll be able to do them right away
