Splurge for the anti-theft caps. I had two of my originals stolen and replaced all of them with the anti-theft caps and have not had a problem.

 

I have had the chrome ones stolen at least 3 times on diff cars. I now just buy the black plastic ones.

Philly G35 how much and where did you get the anti theft caps from?

 

Little hoodlums in Chatsworth used to steal mine while I was parked in the Metrolink lot. Got some Locktite Medium. End of problem. Not as satisfying as catching one of the wanna be's though.

Mine have the Infiniti logo on them. I thought I got them at EverythingG35.com, but I just looked there and I did not see them. I think they were around $30.

Just be glad there not prying off and stealing your emblems like they used to. I remember like 10-12 years ago I would see all these mercedes and honda's with missing emblems and scratch marks where they used to be.

I had all 4 of mine stolen when I stayed at the Marriott in Center City Phila... damn parking attendant bast$rds!! Plus I tipped them well on my ins and outs b4 I noticed.

 

There was a thread here about problems with non-Infiniti metal replacement caps getting stuck on the valve stem. I believe it was related to corrosion accelerated by dissimilar metals. Since the stems are very expensive due to the pressure monitor, this would be something to avoid. I'm sure the plastic ones, unattractive as they are, will be safe.
