I saw some pics of it on the WWW...looks like a G35 sedan but the interior is different.









I like the tail lights and instrument cluster better. Maybe this is the Euro equivalent of the G35? I always thought Infiniti was a US-only nameplate for Nissan.

I like the Engine Compartment the Best........ Everything Hidden Looks real clean. Must Keep in the Heat though, Probaly would melt in Nevada or Arizona during the Summer

I think the XVL is the original concept car the V35/G35 is based on.

 

Odd, I have no memory of ever seeing this car.

yup, this is the concept, originally thought by some as the replacement for the I35... nobody could've foresaw that this was going to be the replacement skyline, since it was badged an Infifniti... I think it came out at 98 or 99...

 

Yeah, the XVL was displayed in the Toronto Auto Show a couple years back. I'll see if I can dig up an old photo of it. Who would have thought at the time I saw that concept that I'd end up owning the actual car a few years later.

Thats a nice looking instrument panel - i like the current trend with chrome surrounding the dials. 330i looks great in that trim and hell even the overchromed matrix has a neat dash

 

I really like the 4 spoke steeting wheel on this car better then the 3 spoke currently on the g35. looks much more symetric...

 

oh i like those chrome dials too. but that clock looks funky being a different color than the rest of the displays.

Ya it was the orginal G35 concept car. Man all those switches look confusing. I wonder what they all do? I want some of them the good ones that is. The navi buttons looks different. It looks like there is more buttions. I especially like the gauges and the steering wheel except the fact that it does not have volume and cruse control ***** on the steering wheel. It also looks a little more luxury by the looks of the gear shifter. Is it me or does the exuasts look different?

the combination of light color leather and dark color console looks good, how come the production version does not have it?
