i know what you mean, i have raced cars for ever, its all about trying to figure them out. they are powerful cars, just need traction!!!
i was just about to buy a C6 vette, now i love my car all over again
order a really straight through exhaust, cold air and a plenum spacer, your car will feel like a totally different car....

ok i am serious, skunk2 plenum spacer is 200 dollars, well worth it. you have to open up these engines, cold air, i have test pipes and straight through exhaust, its kinda loud but who cares. my car would probably run about a 13.5 all motor, i havent ran it without the nitrous cause our track gets sooo crowded i only get three runs in....
i am from a racing backround and have figured out with the imports it all about letting them breathe before and after the pistons....
there are a lot of mods that are a waste of time, i have tried to avoid them
i think i have just had good luck with what i have done
pm me if you have any questions...

My random thoughts and opinions...
There's no difference between the 05 and 04 G35 AT Engines. What works for the earlier VQ's works (or doesn't work) for the 05 AT.
There's lots of information on this site and others. It's up to you to determine what/who is worth your time.
Mods work! There's lots of great ones to consider. The right mods work well.. but must complement eash other.
With many mods the ECM/TCM must adjust to the changes. Large changes in air flow may cause the engine to run lean... at least initially.
The ECM/TCM can take time to "adjust" depending on the car. Mine has been, and remains, very slow to adjust to mods from day one. The latest example --Iridium spark plugs.
Drag racing is as much a test of the driver as it is of the car. I respect good drag racers as they can usually squeeze the most performance out of a car.

I picked up 28 rwhp and almost 40 pft torque with my mods....
Went from running 14.20s to 13.50s (severely traction limited) and yes that's with an '05 6MT sedan. In my opinion, it responds BETTER to mods than the '04 350Z and G35 Coupe I owned before this car.

There are a few people that are more dependable than others to listen to but over all most of the folks on here that are posting are guessing that they are getting a gain probably because most mods make more noise.
Since I want performance, not necessarily noise, I am carefull who I listen to unless can show proof of improvements.
THat is why I just ran my car at the drags and today at the autocross, to get a base line.
I will try a few new starting "tips" from a few of the folks here.
Since you advertise specific gains, you must have dynoed the car before and after. Are your stats and the mods that gave the gains available for us to see?
If so I would like to see them so I can consider those mods.
