Cracked Taillight Lens on 05 G35x

Anyone know what the plastic taillight assembly (just the cover) runs? Who may have the best price?

I had the misfortune of having a baseball bounce off one of mine.

Try and glue it back together if you can so it's at least it looks like it's all one piece from afar, and the go test drive a new one and swap them

The dealer is going to charge the #### out of you, so perhaps a crap-yard might have one as well. DOT approved LED light housings are very expensive.

Claim it on your comprehensive insurance, that's what that's for! Those claims don't count against you! Those come as a unit I believe, so they are expensive!

I have an 03 rear light set I will sell you for cheap if you want to change everything out

Other than that, ive only seen the lights sold as a set. Call you local dealer, they should be able to tell you if they can order just one or not.

Hope you're not serious about the swap...

That's not bad at all, I thought that would cost much more than that, those prices are good. Is it hard to change out a unit like that and not have it leak?

Looks like infiniti-parts has it for $200?

Anyway, for the original poster, I'm willing to buy that cracked taillight off of you if you're willing.

I've had mine on for almost a year now (installed the 2005 rear lights) and haven't had any leaks what so ever. As long as you make sure the area the seal sits is clean, your all good. Tighten the bolts down good for a nice tight seal.

Piece o pie!

I've decided to leave it the way it is now. Others haven't even noticed it when I've told them about it.

Thank you all for your assistance.
