Remote/FOB: How long has your battery lasted?

Just wondering how long your battery has lasted. Mine is about 3.5 years old and I just noticed that the range has dramatically decreased. Probably time for a new battery.

That's pretty good, I've had several vehicles with the remote, and no battery lasted that long! But, it's cheap! I bet the battery in the Intelligent Key won't last that long either!

I've had em last 3-4 yrs. Don't know in recent years tho...I've not kept the ride long enough to find out.

The fobs for my last vehicle [whispers shamefully "Ford"] went 7 years on the original batteries, and were still working fine when I sold it last summer. Unfortunately, that was one of the best attributes of the vehicle.

2 years 9 months and 23 days... my range has decreased significantly over the last several months. I now find myself using the chin technique about 50% of the time.

I'm at 3.5 years as well and I just started to notice the signal has weakened a bit.
