Any former coupe owners here?
Just wondering why you made the switch and if you have any regrets. I've had my G sedan for about 6 months and enjoy it's mix of power, handling and practicality. That said, I must admit I feel a bit of envy when I see the coupe. I think the sedan is an attractive car, but the coupe looks amazing. Currently the sedan makes more sense with a new addition to the family, but I can't help but think when I sell the sedan I may go to the dark side.

The Coupe is pretty, but the Sedan suits me better.

I went from a coupe to a sedan. I owned the coupe from 2003-2005 (put 24,500m on it) then sold it in June '05 when we moved from SF to Toronto. It would have been more expensive to import it than buying another car. I intended on getting another coupe but we wanted a more usable backseat and more importantly more trunk space. We looked at the 325i/330i, TL, IS300, S60, A4, A3, Accord V6, CTS, 9-3, etc... kind of wasn't even considering the sedan until I realized I was underwhelmed by all of those choices - so I went and took out a sedan and what do you know? I loved it. Bought it that day.
Since then we've put 12,000km on the sedan and I still love it. It's got the power of the coupe, looks good (imo), handles just as well, has more interior room and a way bigger trunk. The coupe *is* sexier, but the sedan can look pretty darn good.
I don't plan on selling this one any time soon but our other car is going to go in Febuary. Not sure what we're going to replace it with yet. The short list is M35/45, IS350, or if I go crazy, an M3.

I went from the 350Z to the sedan. I had an early 03 that I got when the first Z's came out and I kept it about 1.5 years. I loved the Z, but the nagging first model year issues and lack of space got to me. I had a Maxima when I bought the Z, and planned to keep both, but after the Maxima was attacked in a hail storm (the Z was in the garage), I got rid of it. After the fact I wish I had something with more room.
The G sedan was the best comprmise. I was able to install the S-tune suspension and Stoptech BBK from the Z, and I honestly feel like I did not loose much in terms of performance. I also really like the way the sedan looks, especially with the full body kit and wheels. I like the looks of it just as well as the Z and G Coupe (the **** is a little large for me). I had to sell the iForged wheels and Top Secret diffuser, so I lost a little bit there, but I got a great deal on trade in, so it was a wash in terms of money.
All in all, I would do it again....

so jran you had the s-tune 350? If not, did you have at least the s-tune exhaust? How does it sound in comparison with the stock? I'm thinking about purchasing it cause I'm assuming it sounds close to stock except louder.
