brake pad replacement question

Ok Im about to get some pads to replace the OEM

im looking to get the Hawk HPS pads( i belive they're not ceramic)
but i have a few questions, i did a search and found that some of the Hawk pads make noise, i wanted to find out if the Noise is from the ceramic pads or the HPS ones??? and how everyones experience is with these pads

and what other choices do i have in pads, some that are long lasting, minimal brake dust and squeek free.

I put the Stillen 'Metal Matrix' pads on, front and rear, before the OEM pads had a 100 miles on 'em. Luv 'em.....Stop well with both OEM and aftermarket rotors.....and NO dust. About $100 +/- for the set and cake to install. ...................................04' G35X, Brilliant Silver,"Padded" (Metal Matrix) by Stillen" "Full 'X' Cat-Back" by Stillen, "Aloomie Pedals" by Inf., "Popped" by Wolf, "Pullied" by UR,"Tubed" by Z,"D-Badged" by me, "Clear Cornered" by JDM, 05' "Tails" by Inf., "Tall Boy Plenum" by APS, well "Grounded" by Gordgee., 35% Silver Reflective tint.

I have the Hawk HPS. Great pads so far, no dust, and no noise. You can get the Hawks or the Stillens at Stillen's Site

I just had the Hawk HPS pads installed on the front on Tuesday and they good but really need time to bed properly. We have had rain since late monday so I acn't really do the beding properly. They make almost no noise slight grinding but with the radio on you never heard it and it is only avdible kust before a complete stop. I would buy them again and will for the rears.
