ISO Thermal Plenum on 2005+ NON-REVUP...

Are there are any 2005 or 2006 AT Sedans with the ISO Thermal Plenum? I did a search, but most people that replied to previous posts had pre-2005 cars. I’m just curious about the gains for the NON-REVUP engine for 2005+ cars.

ISO *gasket* is recommended for *any* G. it's the MREV mod that's for the REVUP engines only.

Were you referring to Motordyne's "ISO Thermal Plenum Spacer" or the "ISO Thermal Upgrade"? Checkout the following for more info . . .

http://www.motordyneengineering.com/G35.asp

The '05 G35's came with RevUp engine not the other.

The RevUp motors are the 298 HP motors, which are in the '05+ G's equipped with a 6MT.

If you look me up, I have posted with info on my 05 G35x AT Sedan. The MD Spacer definitely works. Buttdyno indicates good gains from the Spacer. If combined with Z-tube and K&N, the benefits are even more noticible. My friend with a 05 G35 Coupe 6MT even felt my car is pulling harder than his car. Furthermore, the ISO Thermo feature is pretty good too since the penlum runs much cooler than before. Cooler means keeping hp even in a hot summer.

So it seems few people have added this mod to their AT 2005 G35's so far? Maybe my question is premature.

me thinks the problem is in the way your question is worded... as others have pointed out, when you say "ISO Thermal Plenum?" people who have done the research are gonna think "huh? you don't need the MREV Plenum for an AT!"
Assuming you mean the Plenum Spacer, then this is your answer:

Its been dynoed on that plenum configuration many times. ...Between 8-13 HP and typically above 10.
see 3/8" Motordyne Spacer Review
oh & you probably woulda got a lot more responses if you didn't restrict your question to Sedans. The gains are the same for AT Coupes, and the Coupe crowd is a lot more mod adventerous...
.
bottom line: buy the dern thing!
