Wow, Great Read! I have two areas I can't get rid of. One is my driver seat squeaks intermittently sounds like back left wide squeaks. I have lobed the tracks, and tightened bolts. if I wiggle in the seat, or when I push in clutch (putting pressure on back of seat) it squeaks. Weird part is, if I raise the seat, it gets a lot less noisy?

How do I remove the decorative plastic piece on the side of the seat? I think if I get that off i can get to underside of seat and lube the crap out of something?

I also have squeaks and rattles in sunroof. I think on is loose bolts, but i don't want to drop headliner to fix (is that hard?) but the other is squeaks where rubber seal meets paint of the body when sunroof closed. when body of car flexes over turns, I hear rubbing sound. Should I use silicone spray? Only on rubber not on paint right?

I had the squeak that sounded like a strut coming from behind the driver side in the decklid area. Pulled the velcro off the seatback, pulled the foam forward from the seatback/x brace and tightened the top bolts on the back seat x-brace, this resolved the issue.

One of the braces may be cracked. Mine was the bolt that holds the seat to the floor. I put a lil lube on them and tighten it.

Stupid question but where did you get the felt? Craft store? Was it sticky backed or did you glue it?
