So, does anyone know if that OEM spacer on the earlier Gs is available at the parts counter and if it will fit the 05s and 06s?

Thanks Rick for the clarification. Just picked up my spacer from Circuit City for $14. I'll be installing the speakers tomorrow and can't wait.
