2007 G35 Interior
Seriously...
Nissan needs to make the G more like the M interior wise. I know the M costs a lot more, but still. Anyone who has been in an M knows what I'm talking about, the fit and finish is excellent...and when you close the doors it feels so solid, just like a BMW.

You can bet the M represents progress in Infiniti interiors that will carry some benefits through the line. I would think Infiniti is listening and will have a nice upgrade in the G especially considering what is happening with some of the competition.

Personally, I would rather the G interior look different from the M while being just as visually appealing and solid. However, this is Infiniti designers we are talking about. They probably will not rack their brains trying to reinvent the wheel. The new G interior will probably be similar to the M. That will be a step up from the current G, but if they can diversify their interiors it will give each car its own identity while showing the progress of Infiniti designers.
Infiniti definitely needs to concentrate a lot of attention to the interior. It doesn't have to be fancy or funky, just more clean and solid looking. I would like to see a more sporty look for the 6mt and an option for an updated interior with wood and crap for those that want it. If they can pull that off, increase the performance a notch, and not mess with the looks too much, it will rule BMW and Lexus.

Besides, I think thoes who think that the interior needs a overhaul - the new G35 should be a croud pleaser if the M is any indication.

I think Infiniti needs to differentiate the G from the M.
I don't like the fact that the G and M share similar body lines...which is why I don't like Sea Ray boats. One body style offered in different sizes.
Although the M has a more sophisticated looking dash layout, it kind of reminds me of an old tug boat...I think they should keep the G dash looking different.

Just my $.02.
Nah bro...it's not just my G...it's every G (sedan, Coupe, 03 or 06, doesn't matter) When you close the door it's kind of this rattling sound.
But when you close a BMW door it's like a shutting a friggin tank door, and the M series also has that same feeling. I don't know if it's better quality hinges, better built doors, or a combination of a few things.
Go to a dealership and close the door on the M, then the G right away. You'll see what I mean, the G has a lot of rattles through out the car.
