I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada and I talked to a local Cusco dealer about my G35 sedan. They makes a struct tower bar for our cars. They also have the Cusco sway bars from the 350Z that is proven to work by Gsedanman.

Lets see a show of hands if anyone are interested in buying them if we get discounts.

Actually, it was Gsedan35 that has the Cusco bars, not our beloved GSM. Any idea of the cost yet, or ball-park?

Around 300 for the struct bars and 350 for the sway. IT just an estimate, I don't know the exact price yet.

 

The G35 does not have the built up structure that the Z has for mounting strut tower bars. Since our car's lack those mounts, we can't use any Z based strut tower bar. And a closer examination of the Z strut mounting area reveals they provide a great deal of structual enhancement related to their job of prventing flex. In any event, I would want to see how these mount, before a dime would come from me, cause I'll be real surprised if their not ment to use Z mounts we don't have. I hope I'm wrong, but either way, either they don't fit, or they'll have a mounting surface that isn't near as good as the Z's.

I am not sure of the specs and how it looks and how it is mounted yet but the representative assured me more than 3 times that it would fit on the sedan.

I would be the lab rats if I got the money right now but I don't. I can probably set up some deals between the dealer, me and anyone who wants it though.

 

So Gsedan35, you claimed that your car has the 350Z springs and struct but how do you mount it on your car if it is as you said? I am too lazy to go out and check under the hood.

Do you want me to point you to the how to with pics that I created on this board that chronicle's the swap? Do you want me to point you to the review of the setup that I posted on the board? Oh are you infering that I'm lying?

I'll call Gruppe-S on monday and find out if he list's a Cusco sturt tower bar for the Z, if he does I'll then ask about any G35 fitment, if their the same part number, we have our answer on fitment.

It is in US. I haven't have the exact price yet, thats just an estimate from me.

oh, sorry gsedan35, I confused you with Gsedanman. He actually have the 350Z structs and springs on his car. Thats what I want to ask.

 

I have 350Z springs and sturts on my car, it's in my sig. I've never seen anyone else talk about having them to, other than souped, and I just spoke with him the other day and their not on the car yet. I hope this clears things up.

Do not even think about getting them unless you've driven a 2003 350Z over some NOT so smooth roads and your ok with the ride quality or lack of it. Read my review to see the positive gains.

If you are getting your bars from BC Auto & Design here in Markham, Ontario, Canada I can talk to Bell Chan and ask him for sure. His workers there don't really know much and always refer questions from customers to him anyways. So the answer you got before is VERY UNRELIABLE. If it is true, I will ask them to put the front strut bar on my car to prove it. Actually, I wouldn't want those guys to put anything on my car after hearing all these bad stories about them and their installation jobs. Getting parts from them is one thing, getting them to install is another. However, I do know for a fact that they are an authorized CUSCO dealer here in Toronto. I will have to do all this after my vacation to Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton though.

I just spoke to Gruppe-S, where I got my Cusco sway bars. And I told them the story how theirs a distributor in Canada that swears Cusco makes strut tower bars for the G35. Gruppe-S's answer was that Cusco doesn't list a G35 strut tower bar for the coupe or the sedan. I'll give the benefit of the doubt on this and email mike directly and ask him to contact Cusco directly and see what happens.
