20X8.5 / 38mm Offset or 20x8.5 with 20mm
20X8.5 / 38mm Offset or 20x8.5 with 20mm
Hey I picked up my 03 sedan last week with the aero kit. The rims I'm looking at are 20x8.5 with a 38mm Offset. I plan on installing Eibach Pro Kit after I get the rims, would the 38mm offset be fine with the drop or should I go 20x8.5 with 20mm offset
the 20+ mm offset would never work for Sedans without a widebody kit or rolling your fender

Get the +38 it will be perfect. Chico has Pro Kits with 20" wheels I have Pro Kit with the 19"
Do a search on Chico to see pixs of his car with 20" Milanos and the pro kit springs I think he has a =38 offset as well.

offset means how much your wheel tuck in or stick out (if you want a more thorough definition, you can try google wheel offsets and camber and those stuff). Generally, for a G sedan, depending on your rim width and the tire profile, the offset that you would be using ranges from +35 mm to +48 mm.
For instance, when you have a 18x8 rim with a low wall prfile tire of 245 width, you can go with a +38mm offset. However, for the same rim, but if the tire design has thick wall profile (same width 245mm), you are prolly going to need +45mm or +42 mm.
Hope this helps!
