Quick plenum spacer ??

Any reason to disconnect the battery when doing just the basic spacer? I know with the thermal or MREV you disconnect some ground wires, but with the basic spacer is there any need?

We all know the computer will learn changes on its own. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing any reasons.....Thanks.

No.

Just realize that if you haven't run wot lately, you'll need to in order to get the ecu to allow you to have 100% throttle.

you should always unplug it when doing any engine/exhaust work. i mean seriously, WTF, it takes 2seconds to loosen the nut and slide it off the cap, probably took logner for you to make this post than do it.

Yeah...I don't know that you "need to" disconnect the negative terminal while actually performing the work (as it sounds in your thread); however, like Atlantic said..it only takes a minute to do (a fraction of the time of installing the spacer). Just be sure to write down your presets on your radio before disconnecting .
