I would assume that the 6-speed manual isn't going anywhere.

 

i dunno, i just find it hard to believe that this refresh will last for only three years. i mean that makes depreciation bad, which doesn't spell tier 1 very well.

 

Agreed - but part of being a Tier-1 player is having a vehicle that competes in all parts of the game: Exterior, Interior, Engine, suspension, Telematics, sound system, ect. The current G35 only competes in drive train, and even that can be disputed given the fact that this engine is extremely thirsty. If Infiniti's intention is to simply execute another '05 "massage" - then I'm sure alot of people are going to look elsewhere; including myself, for this car is definitely not a Tier-1 player as is against the likes of the IS 350, Audi A6, BMW 3 Series. Ya they are more $$$$, but this class is not about value alone.

Nevertheless, I'd be real surprised if Infiniti does not put forth the effort, given what they did w/the M.

 

When did we officially hear of the '05 changes? Was it April of 2004? Do you see where I am going with this...

I think there will be a whole flood of used G35s once the 07 G's come out.

 

Could be the case- I just need to make sure I beat all of you bastards to the lot on trade-in day.
