door panel ripped

I had a miserable unlucky 13th! just noticed the driver's side door panel (Graphite plastic or leather...not sure); the car is not even 8 months old - I have nothing sharp on me and can't imagine why this would happen; Anyone else experience the same - I am concerned that this tear will get worse over time; Any ideas what I can do - I've been thinking of looking for a used door panel - not certain where or how to find one.

Welcome, joedan88,
Visit a local auto upholsterer.....I think you'll find that he can fix that to your liking.

the more I think how this happened...

I feel it is the seatbelt retracting that caused the tear... does this seem plausible?
I am seriously thinking of taking this up with Infiniti as a warranty issue

That's a nasty tear, I don't see how the seatbelt could have done that though, it's not like it's sharp. Did anyone else use your car, or work on your car at anytime?

That doesn't look so good. Looks like it is situated where your elbow rests. But that is kind of far back to have an elbow.
