04' acura TL vs 04' G35
i've been planning to get the 04' G35 sedan, but dont want to regret when the new TL comes out, cuz i heard the TL is coming out with 280 hp and voice activation navigation system. so what do you guys think of the new TL? Is the G still a better car?

I heard alot of negatives about Acura's voice
activation navigation system. Unless they are
vastly improved in the 04 model, I think you
will be disappointed. It is still a FWD car, isn't it?

How's it going. The TL and the A6 were my 2 second choices before I bought my G. I have had my G since September 2002 and it has 12,800 miles on it. I love this car more now then I did when i bought it. It is absolutely a JOY to drive. Power, handling, responsiveness, dependability it has it all. I have really learned the manners of this car and Infiniti has done a brilliant job with this automobile.
I am sure the new TL will be quite a machine. I will definitely test drive it when it becomes available. Just follow what your instincts tell you. I have never been more happy with another automobile. I clean it every weekend like it is brand new. My next door neighbor must think i am fanatic about cleaning my car, its just I love it. It feels so good getting such a spectacular car that looks thrilling and drives the same. Prior to this I had 98 Maxima, nice car but doesn't even come close. My wife has an X5, so I think I can offer a pretty good opinion about performance cars.
Well my 2 cents, good luck!

As long as the TL has wrong wheel drive, the G will be a better car.
But an AWD TL sounds groovy.

Re: 04' acura TL vs 04' G35
Once again my former status as a Nissan sales rep will be valuable (a teeny bit) here...We got the opportunity to take a TL and Avalon up against the 04 Maxima (all comparably equipped, all right off the factory floor) and while the TL is really a very nice machine, the 04 Maxima was that much more impressive...I'm sure you're thinking bias but I actually was extremely skeptical of both the 350Z and the new Max until I was able to put them through their paces, and when I push a car I am very demanding...I have to imagine that if the o4 Maxima can stand up against the TL our G35s can too...Voice navi has been glitchy for several manufacturers, most notably BMW and their 745...But I can't fault someone for purchasing an Audi or Acura TL over a G- to each their own and at least they're buying quality...
