Need some Advice on getting a G

Well, I'm in search for a car and it's come down between the TL and the G35. My parents are going to pay for the car and drive it for a year or two until I get of UCLA and get a job. My friend picked up a 06TL with nav for $35K out the door including taxa nd registration. Iwas wondering if anyone thinks I can get the 06 G with premiun package and nav for around $35k out the door? I really don't want the TL, so I'm hoping to find a g35 that can match the TL in price and features. Also anyone in socal know a place that give me a good price, I went down to metro infiniti, but didn't do much price talking. Planning to get the car this weekend.

It's possible if you can get a really good deal. Invoice cost of a auto G35 w/ premium and nav is right around $34k. People were getting killer deals on 05's but not sure about 06's. Only one way to find out, go to the dealers and get them to compete over price.

There is not that many options avaliable, so it is pretty easy to find the exact same outfitted car on different dealer lots. Lets see, here are the options I remember.
1. Auto or 6mt
2. X or RWD
2. Package A, B, or C, not all packages avaliable with the 6mt. Or choice of no Package.
3. Navi
4. Sat Radio
5. Spoiler
6. Areo pkg.
7. Interior and exterior

It should be pretty easy to say to a dealer that Dealer B is going to sell me a 05 6mt, with Navi and package a for 34g. Beat that, then you go back to dealer A and tell him that dealer that dealer B will do the same car for 33 G. Pit one dealer against another, and dont be afraid to exagerate the deal the other guy will give you. The saleman can car less how much it is selling for, he just needs to move units. More than likely, he gets paid the same if he sold you the G at sticker or if he sold it to you for 3g under.

you are not going to find a 2005 with Nav but you should be able to find a a 06 with premium and Nav the MSRP will be higher and they will try to sucker you into paying stick (age)

Go pick up a magazine with invoice prices and the breakdown of the different options at invoice. Do the math at invoice and add $500..that's a good deal.

Go for the G. We have both cars at our house. The TL (2004) is the wife's and I have the G (2006) with AWD, navi, premium package C, and rear spoiler. The G wins hands down in performance and handling. Plus the Infiniti service is way beter than Acura. Additionally, Acura has some issues with vibration that they cannot sem to overcome. You can read about it in their forum. I would really pay the extra money for the Infiniti any day...Good luck man

Invoice on the G with nav is about $35k. Sticker is probably around $38+.
That is with Prem Pack C which I got. Add in tax and dest chg also.
I drove the TL before buying my G, and it's just a nicer car imo.

For 37K sounds like it has the sport/prem package but no Nav. You can get that one pretty cheap I would say 4K off of MSRP.

Give Hoehn Infiniti (Carlsbad, CA) a call to check their inventory. I got a good deal on a brand new 05 last month.

if you live in a snowy area the front wheel drive acura is horrible in the snow and the G35 has the best resale value in it's class. dollar to dollar i would get the awd, more power (acura is really rated at 255hp not 270hp) and more features

Check the infiniti web site... call or email Miller, Thousand Oaks, and Glendale (and Santa Monica if you really really want to).
