Took G to track

Hey I took my automatic G35 sedan to the track on this past Sat and made a few runs. I just turned off the traction control and floored it when the tree got to the 3rd yellow. The car ran consistent 14.8@94.5. I left it in automatic mode and didn't do any brake torque at the start. I figured since it will shift at redline in automatic mode I would let it do the shifting Seems fairly consistant with other peoples times. BTW, the car is stock except for the Eibach pro-kit which I am sure didn't effect anything.

Very respectable times! Weather and track conditions are big factors, but having fun is what its all about.

Re: Took G to track

yea i took my G to the track.. didn't get the timing though
with auto u don't really need to think bout the shifting which is good, but takes alot of the fun out

Re: Took G to track

The weather was in the upper 70s but it was kinda humid. My 60 ft times were not very good, they were all around 2.3. I am not sure how to improve the times w/o mods. I am used to a manual transmission as all my previous cars had them.
