I think I mentioned to you before that you have 2 other vehicles I would love to own. I may drive the coupe and decide it is too similar, or I may love it and even trade in my sedan. Don't get me wrong, I love the sedan, but if the wife and I decide we need a versatile vehicle in the family like the Murano, and the coupe is that much more fun to drive than the sedan, I may take the depreciation bullet and go for it.

Re: should we have bought the coupe
Here's my view. I am a longtime mustang owner. I have had a total of 5 mustangs, with four of them being cobras. My most recent was a 2003 supercharged cobra with 500 HP and about $10,000 in suspension mods. I sold it because I couldn't drive it year round. I am 21, and yes I have paid for all of my own vehcles. Anyway, I bought a sedan with Premium, sport, and aero kit. IMHO, the aero kit makes the car look 10 times better, and more closely resembles the coupe. With a set of wheels, a couple of bolt ons, and Brembo's, you have a four door that is faster and just as good looking as the coupe. Plus, the insurance is cheaper, and you can haul more people and things. I love the sedan, and yes, I love the coupe too. If it were not my daily driver, I wouldn't have bought either one of these cars, especially not the coupe. The coupe is more of a summer "sports" car. The sedan can be a year round vehicle. I would rather have a 500 HP cobra (or vette or viper) with a full out race suspension for summer driving than a coupe.

Re: should we have bought the coupe
I'm still happy with my 6mt sedan.
Mostly for the stealth factor.
I didn't want to be constantly plagued by ricers (or cops).
Since it's <a href="https://g35driver.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=1&Number=95192&page=0&view =collapsed&sb=5&part=">so close in performance to the coupe</a> it's just as much fun to drive (except for the lack of seat bolstering).
Plus more trunk space, roomier back seats, headroom.
I'll admit that every now and then a G35 coupe catches my eye, but with my weak resistance to stoplight duals, I'd have at least one ticket by now for sure.
