Love this car, but boy, this front driver's seat sure needs some getting used to--I find them to be very uncomfortable, the controls on the side certainly don't help. Hopefully this will be my only grip. No rattles, or other issues that I've read on this forum

Yea, I drove my wife's Maxima the other day after it was in the
body shop for 3 weeks. My first impression was how much
more comfortable the drivers seat was than my G35 sedan.
BUT, it is not as fun to drive.

2003 Twilight Blue Sedan 5AT, sunroof, Graphite Leather,
splashguards, GG red 8 wire Hypergrounding kit, 350Z intake duct, K&N filter.

 

only problem the sedan seats have is that the seat area is short. I finally played with adjustments and got mine to where I was comfortable as any other car I have owned.

The seats give a wide range of adjustment compared to others so play with it I bet you will get a comfortable position

Try this one on - I had no problems with the seat until I started hearing other people complain. Now I keep thinking how much more comfortable my Maxima seats were. I am I just imagining that they bother me, or just now realizing it? Either way I think I will just pretend it doesn't bother me. If that doesn't work I guess I'll be forced to deal or get new ones.

If it really bugs you there was a TSB on the seat that dealt with having them remove some of the material by the controls. Might be worth a shot.
