MY buddies wife has a 04 v8 envoy. We were playing basketball thursday night and he was say that he has driven nothing like it at 55 he hits the gas and it just goes and how he thought that at 55 he would just leave me . So after ball we got on the freeway and got side by side at 55 and took off i never saw anymore then his headlights. I totaly smoked him. He pulled up beside me and called my on cell and said damn well i guess that car is fast. I just laughed.

I think he means an SS Trailblazer....which is the same thing as the Envoy.

 

ooo beware... not all big trucks are slow. I pulled up on a modded excursion, and we were even all the way through first gear. But part of the reason was VDC killed my launch... Watch out for those modded turbo diesel trucks, they are fast

Hey, at least it wasn't one of those "Guys, do you think my G will beat my freind's Envoy" kind of posts. I hate those threads. At least this guys found out for himself.

 

Diesel trucks can be made to go faster, but I am unaware of any such option on an Envoy.

VW Beetles can be made faster as well......it dosen't mean I go hunting them either....

a silverado ss would keep up with a g too...i went against one and started pulling on him only until i hit around 70 but he stayed the entire way with me
