WOW!! 14.2 @ 99mph the same as the Gc and 1/10th slower then the Z. and it did 70-0 not only better then the Z/Gc but better then the lambo and S7!!. Also pulled .87G on the skid pad with its little 215/55 with 17”. Their track Z pulled .88 and Gc @ .90 . Looks like those G coups and Zs better be on the look out when a little 6MT sedan pulls up next to you . They also say that they are having a hard time believing the difference in power output among the 3 variants of the 3.5s. I'll scan the article if you guys want. Just sharing the news. later.

I would love to see the article. I get Road and Track and Autoweek, but no Car and Driver. I have a G35 S 6MT and have been waiting for a good road test.

Motor Trend also has a recent 6MT road test on their <a href="http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/sedan/112_0308_frst_g356mt/">website</a>. As usual, their numbers are close, but slightly better.

Who cares? 0-60mph is irrelevant. But I would be interested in seeing 60-foot times.

Why wait? Take it to the nearest track and perform your own test.

What's impressive about the 0-60 time, while really irrelevant, if you look at the 5-60 street start it's only .4 seconds less. That's impressive. Show's the low end grunt that the VQ puts out. Either that or the 0-60 was very limited by wheel spin in which case beefier tires would go a long way.

Lyonsd - I would love to go to a track, but at this point I would rather read about someone else beating on their car trying to get the fastest possible times. I enjoy spirited driving, but I have a tough time thrashing my car when it has that new car smell.
