For those of you who put on the 350Z springs....

My shop is telling me that putting these springs on may screw up my camber in the front. Has anyone run into not being able to get the car aligned up front back to it's normal specs?

He tells me that it might put the car at a negative camber setting which will eat up my tires. He says the rea is adjustable but the fronts are not.

Exactly how low do the 350Z springs lower my car? I have a 2005 with the sport package. I thought it was only lowered about 1/2" - 3/4"??

My service department was able to align my car back into specs, with no issues. The OEM 350Z springs will drop the car an inch all around.

I've been through all this already... searching, postings, etc...

For an '05 with the sport package you need to find a set of UNREVISED 350z springs from an '03 or '04 model. I have a set of '04 springs being sent to me now.

Just a few of the links so you know what you're dealing with....

Wow... big differences. So how are the coupe settings working for you? How is tire wear? Overall grip?

They seem to work fine. I can't really comment on tire wear, considering I have only had the setup for less than 1k miles. I just recently went to coupe 18" wheels as well. Drive's straight, steering response is excellent. The ride is a little firmer than stock, but its well worth the look. I would have ran z springs in the rear, but I wanted to give the overall appearance of equal fender gap space front and rear, thus coupe springs in the rear. According to Jim(Gsedan35), there will probably be very minimal inner tire wear. Depending on driving style as well. But not enough to spend 500 bones for adjustable a arms. Especially when you can just reverse mount the tires.

Here are some pics with coupe wheels and z/coupe suspension
