Re: Looks like trouble.........

Even if it is in a different sector by being FWD, there'll be plentyof Honda fanatics who'll tune their cars to match ours.

So look forward for some interesting races

Re: Looks like trouble.........

That's another thing I like about my G... No real tuning needed.

Re: Looks like trouble.........

hey kongzx, your forgetting the key word in compters. UPGRADE. thats something i do to my computers all the time. With the aftermarket parts for the new G developing at a lightning quick pace, i dont c y we cant upgrade our cars to be THE best. besides, when i started this thread, i didn't mention which car was better, only that th TSX might hurt sales. Of course, there ill eventually will be a better car, as there is always a higher moutain, but for now, g35 is THe best, otherwise motor trend wouldn't have given our G35s its props with the car of the year award

Re: Looks like trouble.........

that proves the fact even more stewa, we dont even need to tune our cars, unlike hondas. Our G's come with real power right out of the box. tuning is only if you want to go above and beyond

Re: Looks like trouble.........

The Acura 1.7EL is a very nice car for it's class. Better than a 1.7L i-VTEC Civic 4 door.

The TSX is going to be a very nice ride as well. It should have been the new Accord sedan instead of that ugly USDM model they call an Altima fighter. However the Accord coupe is a VERY nice ride (cheap man's Benz coupe).

Re: Looks like trouble.........

never sad the EL was a bad car, i only dissed the CL, and even then, it isn't that bad of a car at all dynamicaly, but u have to admit, the CL could use a makeover.

Re: Looks like trouble.........

the new accord sux. and to think i almost condered purchasing one over the G. if it were the tsx instead of what the accord is now in the US, i might of thought twice, mainly due to the price differences and possible gain in fuel economy. But that's not what happened, so i'm more than happy with what i got. and w/ a few mods here and there, it can look better and perform phenomenally..

Re: Looks like trouble.........

All Acura Type S models should come with the factory skirt package they charge as an option. That would make their cars look better.

Re: Looks like trouble.........

yeah.. the only thing that gave the TL any character were the optional side skirts and front/rear underbody spoilers. but even then, i thought it looked too much like an accord. the TL and even the CL seem so much like an old man's car to me. and, although, our car is larger, the acura's actually look longer and too bulky. it's weird how an exterior design can make it look that way. the G is one of the largest in it's class but doesn't seem like it until you put it right next to some of the others like the bmw 3-series or is300. then you can tell that it's taller and longer.

Re: Looks like trouble.........

Acura hasn't really had a GREAT looking car since the last generation integra. That design ran for 11 frickin years and didn't really look all that old. RSX isn't bad, but has to have the right color. The 91-94 legends looked pretty sweet. Especially in Black.

Re: Looks like trouble.........

like their sister company, acura tend to stick to a good level of conservatism. i think they should take a chance and go all out, but keeping it within reason. they did pretty well with the nsx, but that's just not something accessible to more people nor very practical either.
we'll see if they change their ways sometime in the near future. being an admirer of their company, i'd really like to see acura come out with a "head turner" for once.

Re: Looks like trouble.........

Well, yeah, the NSX, looks good too. (Forgot about it, 80,000 dollars will do that)
