This has been done before, so it's not worth the time & effort of reproducing. Check out clips recorded by Andycon here: https://g35driver.com/forums/642825-post.html Go towards the bottom & you'll see the HKS ones. These clips are what made me pull the trigger!

I think it truly comes down what each person can live with & likes for an exhaust note. When I was researching getting the HKS, the only thing I was hesitant about was this "drone" issue. I took a chance & got the HKS. The day I put it on, it was warm here & after taking it out for a ride w/ the windows down, I was in love. There wasn't as much drone as I expected. Then it's been cool out the past three weeks and I find that local road driving in AUTO mode, at 1.5-2.5K rpms, it does drone a bit....but not too too bad. I'd suggest finding someone in your area who has the setup (good luck). Yet...it's been nice the past few days and driving w/the windows down w/ the exhaust gives me an ear-to-ear grin....I love it! You truly get to hear the exhaust note, the way it was meant to be, when the windows are down.....cause when they're up, it just gets muffled a bit. That's my opinion and $0.02 on the combo.

Had a chance to get some sound clips ... this is a Blitz Nur Spec axle-back with a coupe mid-pipe installed. Does anyone have a host to put these files? Less than 1 MB, four MP3s.

Okay... I think I got it. Had to attach as a Word document. Four sound clips taken inside and out, I didn't go past about 4k.
