Had Michelin Pilot Sports A/S 235/50/17 -- lasted 26,000 miles, and they were an awesome tire!

Considered: Goodyear F1-D3's as well.

I also have the Michelin Pilot Sports A/S 235/50/17. Great tire. Highly recommended, though expensive.

Just put on a set of Yokohama Avid V4's...

so far they're every bit as good as the EL42's they replaced, if not better in the road niose transfer department.

I have the stock Goodyears as well and I think they're perfect! I don't know why there are so many bad reviews in TireRack.

I had the Falken ZE 512s (I think) 225/55/17, great looking tire and solid performance during the first 12,000 miles, then it got gradually more and more slippery... lasted 18K miles. They were directional tires and I found them to be noisy, especially at less then 15mph (in the parking lot).

Currently have Kumhos, 235/50/17 Ecsta KH11. Solid performing tire, expect about 20K miles out of them. Preferred the look of the Falkens though, the 235 seems a little too wide for the stock rims whereas the 225s were the perfect width.

Just purchased Falkens size 235/50-17 but mounted on 8" wide TSW wheel. Too new to rate, but ride well.

I have those too... I agree they're good bang for the buck, and provide good day-to-day performance, but I don't know that I'd recommend them to others... unless I knew others were as cheap as me

I drove my G to South Dakota and back on the Wide Ovals and they performed flawlessly, even in VERY heavy rain.

I have them too, but they only have 800 miles on them. Maybe they get worse when they have a little more miles and that's where all the bad reviews come from.

i don't understand why people are going with 235/50 vs 225/55? i'd figure the 225/55 are closest to the stock size tire.
