i have a 03 sedan and i wanted to change the muffler, i got the middy already and i was wondering will the 05 sedan muffler bolt right on??

i decided i dont really want the car any louder so i dont want an aftermarket muffler and the 05 exhaust tips look nicer

No it won't just bolt right on. Its a larger muffler so there are some modifications needed. If you want a louder exhaust, you should try a "turbo" muffler thats a fiberglass reinforced chambered muffler that is louder than an OEM muffler, but quieter than a straight through design. Otherwise, you can always get a smaller resonator in place of the coupes and their should be more noise. I had my resonator replaced with a smaller 18" one, I'm very pleased with the results.

What exactly will the '05 sedan muffler do for you? I've never heard of anyone doing this...just curious. Are you doing it just for the tips?

i heard that the 05 exhaust system is alot more free flowing and less restrictive, thats why i was wondering if it will fit, and also it looks nicer

Ahhhh...gotcha. I wonder what sections they're referring to. Obviously the mid-pipe is better....haven't heard that the actual rear muffler is different though. Now I'm curious....

I kind of figured, since they upgraded the midpipe maybe the muffler too, because the 05s do sound better when they're stock, and a coupe middy for an 05 doesnt help that much
