You'd have to hear it in person.....it's not the least bit ricey. Like one member described to me (before I bought mine), "it sounds like an exotic sports car". I laugh at ricers all the time when I hear them step on the gas....sounds absolutely ridiculous....and the HKS is not. Just my $0.02.

I guess it comes down to how loud you want your car. With coupe middy & HKS, it's a nice combo & very tolerable, since it doesn't make much noise while driving on the highway and it makes a nice note while idling. I think if you took out the resonator (mid-pipe), you'd have a MUCH louder exhaust and lots of drone and probably very loud on the highway.

i agree with that. the rice BS is carried a bit too far, and everything is always compared to honda civics....

guess it was funny back in 98 or so, but that comparison is honestly played out in 2006.

n-e-waz, from the clip, it sounded like the supra a bit in the movie TFATF the original one when they raced the ferrari. respectable in my view.

I haven't read all the posts in the thread, but does anybody know where this exhaust can be had at the lowest price?

I wouldn't recommend deleting the resonator. A week after I bought my G, I had the resonator deleted. The only thing I liked about that sound was at WOT, with VDC off, it sounded insane. Normal daily driving it sounded stupid. I replaced it with an 18" glasspack 2 days later.
The only good thing about losing the stock sedan resonator is a 25lb. weight reduction. That POS is huge!

Look for Chad@Infinitispecialists under Vendors in Exhaust section of classifieds. You can probably get it for around $370 shipped. Great deal! Great guy!!!
